Agrixels continues to make strides in the digital transformation of the agri-food sector, as it was presented as a real-world use case at the ‘Living Labs for Mitigating Climate Change in Agriculture’ conference, held on April 24–25 in Barcelona.
During the Showcase of Technologies and Solutions session, Jordi Paillissé Vilanova, Technical Coordinator of UPCxels, introduced the Agrixels ecosystem as part of UPCxels’ pitch. He emphasized how agri-food data spaces enable smarter, more sustainable, and collaboratively developed solutions for climate-resilient agriculture.
Representing Agrixels at the event were Mikaela Colet, Project Manager of UPCxels, and Irina Moreno Martí, Coordinator of the Agri-Food Technology Sector and Director of Innovation at CER AgrotechUPC. Their participation reinforced the integration between demonstrators and use cases, ensuring that Agrixels continues to drive innovation in the sector.
The conference, co-organized by Xarxa X_AgriTech, IRTA (Instituto de Investigación y Tecnología Agroalimentarias), Naked Innovations, and other EU partners, provided a valuable opportunity to connect with researchers, businesses, farmers, and institutions working towards impactful climate solutions.
Agrixels is proud to contribute to this dynamic Living Lab ecosystem, fostering collaboration and innovation for a more sustainable agricultural future.
